Scheid Extravaganza

Most interesting sayings on shirts:
Smoking is not only permitted... it's ENCOURAGED
God drives Diesels
POLICE! Lay flat on your back and spread em'
Diesel fumes make me horny

I haven't ever head these before safe to say...

These were some pictures we though were funny of people's trucks

On our way in we saw a truck that had an exhaust tip no smaller than 15 inches diameter.  We tried to get a picture but we weren't fast enough.  Here are some contenders.  These aren't near as big however.

You should see how big some of the stacks are on trucks!  Brian's would have looked like a pip-sqeek next to some we saw.

We had a fun time watching the Dyno and the drags and truck/semi pulls.  It was very very hot and by the end of the day there was so much smoke in the air it made you sick.  They brought in so many police officers to help control everything and make sure people were not driving that weren't supposed to.  There is no way they couldn't have stopped people from driving home.  Brian was very careful on our way out because there were a lot of drunks out and about.

Classy right?  Actually this is really classy compared to most.  I should have got a picture of some of the girls.  They walk around in bikini tops and believe me some girls just can't pull it off if you know what I mean.  We saw guys with purple leopard print boxers hanging out.  Super cute.  The most popular girls outfit were short booty shorts with cowboy boots.  8 out of 10 women were dressed like this.  Even old ladies!  How can those be comfy and wouldn't your feet get super hot?
A souped up John Deere tractor!  Brian was in love
 A cute pink truck!
This kid I was sitting by at the pulls had 8 when I took this picture.  By the time the night ended I counted 16 cans for him alone!

I guess this guy is pretty famous according to Brian.  Brian likes him because he has a super complex Powerstroke

Look how cute this semi is!

Freaking Indiana!

Dear Indiana,
You do me no good!  Oh how I would leave you if I could!

Here is another Indiana observation.  Stoplight here are NOT censored.  You can wait at a light literally for 10 minutes with 25 cars behind you waiting for a green light.  Because of this, cars are a lot more aggressive here. No one stops when the light goes yellow because they know if will take 10 minutes for their turn again.  Can you see the problem here??

SAMS CLUB!
You are not my favorite!
I would like to give a shout out to the Idaho Falls Sam's Club.
1- The Lafayette SC does not sell the uncooked tortillas.  I asked in the lady in the frozen isle where they are usually found if they had any.  she looked at me like I had ten heads....'over with all the other tortillas by the bread...' Me:  are you sure they are the uncooked kind?  ' Well ya'

Ya is right!  You don't have them!!

2-  Lafayette does not carry the Orville Redembaker microwave popcorn.  No excuse.

3- Chex Mix!  My favorite treat is the cheddar Chex Mix.  Don't judge me.  In my mind it is a lot more healthy than ice cream.  I have it every day.  Well yesterday I finished my last serving.  Today I went to get another bag and they are out and they told me they won't get any in for a LONG time!!  How rude!  Yes I could go buy some at Walmart for 15 dollars more!  I got the extra jumbo bad for $4.68!  It is the really really really big bag too!  You have to pay $3 for a bag a 4th of the size as my bag :(  Sad thing is, they had a ton of bags last Saturday when we were there. Things change fast.

Stupid Lafayette.  I really don't like this place today.

And on a personal note... they have discontinued my favorite bra!  Not cool!

Tomorrow we are going to the Scheid Diesel Extravaganza and I have my camera charging so we are ready to go!  Yipee!

Camera Upload

My mom has a picture of Logan and I at the first day of school since Kindergarten.  I had to keep the tradition going with Brian.  This is his first day as a grown up starting his new job.  He loves it so far!

Brian trying to get his pit bike going.  Will he be able to put all the pieces back together again??
We FINALLY got our grill going.  We found a propane tank for 15 dollars and it had a little propane in it so we made shish-kabobs and I made these really really yummy potatoes.  Sad to say that our propane has ran out and we need to find some place to fill it for us.

For our anniversary Brian got me golf clubs. We have spent a couple of evenings out on the driving range and it has been a lot of fun.  I am really not any good and I get frustrated because of that, but I will still go and hopefully get better!

Lazy Me

I started a blog a long time ago.  I used an email address I haven't used in years and don't even think I can get to the email any more.  It made private blogs really hard because when I would get my invites it would get really messy and I had to sign out of a bunch of stuff before I could get in.  I just decided to make a new blog and just start from scratch with Brian and I's email.  The old blog is still up and running and has all of my old posts.  I don't know how to import so we are starting from today on, all post will be on this new site.
