I spent the night at J&E's and this morning the boys all made us breakfast and we went to church. Our Sacrament Meeting was AMAZING! I hate all the talks that brag about their particular mother. It is like a lottery to see who gets to be the spotlight of the day. We had a brother that spoke to the men, fathers, sons and Priesthood brethren about mothers. I don't want to give details but it was one of the best meetings I have ever been to. Afterwards we made roast and potatoes and fed the missionaries and went for a walk. It is a beautiful day here. My dear husband has been gone for a week and sent a note to J&E and asked them to pick me up flowers and cupcakes so I could have something on M Day. I started to cry. I love my sweet husband. He is so wonderful and treats me so well.
My yummy cupcakes that I couldn't resist eating before I got a picture. The bottom left one had little Teddy Grahams in them like they were floating in little tubes.
My beautiful flowers. E did a good job picking them out for Brian. Not the best picture but they are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

The coffee table I got at the thrift store for $5 and painted it black
My Monogram!
Don't you love how my slip cover looks after someone sits on it for 5 minutes?
My Christmas Wreath I made
My mom sent me these JOY letters. Come Christmas time I will put some ribbon and stuff on them.
The ring Brian got me for Christmas. I had no idea it was coming and I absolutely love it. I get compliments on it all the time!
At a hockey game in Peoria, IL
The lil' CAT machine
The best parts were the fights!
I made a smaller version of this to put on my mantle. Maybe some day when I have taller ceilings I can make a big one like this

Spring Cleaning
...of my phone that is... I had over 80 pictures on my phone. No wonder it said I was getting low on memory. Figure I may as well just do a post full of phone pics and clean up a little bit.
The wreath I made last fall
Flowers Brian decided to surprise me with for kicks and giggles
This photo is for you Mom. Only you will appreciate it. Easter 2012 at the Garnder's after we opened our special Easter eggs from Mom and Dad
The rest of the hidden message. Holly, the dog, loves me! Too bad our phones too crappy pictures
Brian didn't sleep good... Shocker there! So at lunch he came home and had a quick nap.
Our garden! And yes.... things are actually growing!
You have to fence everything of the bunnies will eat everything.
I saw this and just thought it was really funny!
The dress I made! I really like it and am very proud!
Alice has yet to return to her eggs. It has been 7 days. I guess that is normal??

I claim good news
Well Brian left for his opened ended trip today but we made some calls and found out that he can call me on the phone! I didn't know if I would get charged extra if we talked on the phone so on his other trips we haven't done much talking. If he calls me I don't get charged and we get to text! So I claim good news.
I am on a pet kick. We have a new addition to our family. Her name is Alice. She is an ugly brown Mallard duck. She loves our porch and loves us. She just laid 8 eggs on Saturday. We are going to have baby duckies!
We also have several rabbits that like our bushes. We call them 'Thumpers.'
I miss Duke. Really bad. Mom says don't get a dog but I really want one. I know it comes with responsibility but I want a Duke! I had to read Mom's blog tonight and scroll back a few posts to see pics of everyone and Duke. I had to stop because it made me sad that I am not there.
I have not made any crafty stuff for the house lately because who knows how much longer we will be in this apartment. But I did make a dress last week and I am so happy about it! It turned out really well. Wel, as good as you can get with my sewing skills. It is one of those really long flowy dresses. I told Brian that if it makes me look prego I won't wear it but he said it didn't so I am going to keep wearing it until someone says it isn't flattering! I am quite proud of my dress!
