Short and sweet

A longer post will becoming shortly, but I just have to say we have officially been in Lafayette for two years.  Man how things have changed and how fast things go by!

 We had a lovely 4th of July down at our friends house. Thanks Maren and Lance!  We had quite the firework show.  That morning we went to Despicable Me 2.  WE loved it!

Our Temple now has walls!!

 Brian's birthday cupcake.  It was a really low key birthday and so I sang to him over a cupcake.

 For his birthday lunch he wanted Cracker Barrel.

 Brian got a shotgun (a couple months ago), two new golf shirts for work, and Big Game Hunter.  That night we went out to the gun club and we shot some clays.  Brian loves it.

My friend Maren asked me to go out with her blueberry picking.  This is what I ended up with in an hour and a half.  I am going to make my jam tomorrow.  yea!

Saturday Brian and I wanted to go out to a sporting clay fun shoot.  Out friend Jim decided he wanted to come out with us and give it a go.  It was a lot of fun!  Brian did very well for his first time.

Monday night we went boating.  This week has been HOT!  I was quite enjoying our cooler summer.  

One Year Later and Wiser Too

Well ladies and gents, we have been in our home for 1 yr!  It has been so wonderful to live here for a year.  We have met lots of great neighbors.  We don't regret buying this home at all.  We have loved it for the first year and I am sure we will continue to love it for the many years to come!
