There has been a lot going on here. Nothing too exciting but a lot. Not too long ago we cleaned up my hard drive and put all my pictures on an external drive. Since then I haven't been too great at uploading pictures. We have had so, SO much rain. You Idaho people have no idea what that much rain looks like. I will see what I can find on my phone.
Brina had a trip last week to Quebec. We are also excited to announce we are going back to Idaho in June for a visit! The only people that read this silly little blog are the people who already know we are coming. Oh Well.
With as much rain as we got, we haven't had any for about the last week and already our lawn has lost that lush green look to it. It is so beautiful outside right now. The flowers, the trees, everything is just so pretty right now. Today we hit 89 degrees with 98 percent humidity. It was toasty!
This last weekend we had a really fun weekend. My dad informed us that he had a business trip in Bowling Green, KY so we decided to go meet up with him. It is a 4.5 hour drive so we loaded up Friday morning and headed that way. Kentucky is my new favorite place. I am in love with Louisville right now and everything there. I love the people and how pretty it is. Between Louisville and Bowling Green is seriously one of my favorite places on the planet. Rolling hills and everything is green and lots of animals.
We rolled in to town and Dad called to say that because of the rain things had been postponed for the time being. So Brian and I went to the Corvette Museum and then picked dad up at the hotel. We went shopping and to Chuy's. It is a really good Mexican restaurant. That night we loaded up and headed out to the pulls. They were awesome! The best part is when the alcohol tractor blew up. Literally blew up in to a ball of fire. I wish we could find someone with the video. We got rained out again but it was still really fun.
We headed back to Bowling Green for the night. We woke up and had breakfast and then headed out to do some shopping. Everything is better in B.G... well compared to Lafayette. Our friends J and E go to B.G each year because that is where the closest EFY is so they had a few recommendations for us. One of which was Bruster's Ice Cream. Yumm Yummm!!! It was so good we went once... then had to go again when we picked up my dad. We went out to the drag races which were a ton of fun. Brian really wants to race... I said when you make 300k a year I will consider it.
We had just a wonderful weekend with great company, great food, and great activities. I feel so blessed to get to do some of the things I get to do. We only wish that Mom and Logan could have been there with us.
