Spring is Coming!

Not much has been going on here.  Brian has been traveling. A LOT.  He was gone this past week to Wyoming.  Last week I had Spring Break and Brian had some comp days to use so he took those or he probably would have been traveling again.

We were going to go to Omaha but then decided it was going to be too long of a drive for just the two of us.  We decided to go to Columbus, OH.  We dressed ready to go to the temple.  It was a sad moment when we realized it was closed due to maintenance. Did I get upset? NEVER!!  Not.  It kind of ruined my day, so I thought.  I have been wanting to go to the temple for SO long!  Last time we could go was Christmas.  You people that have temple close by have it so good.  Go to the temple as often as you can and think of me.  I figured if I can't go to the temple maybe I can get names to go to the temple and that will make me feel better.  Either I am just an idiot at this, or all the work has been done!  I am guessing it is because I am an idiot.  I need to go find my family history consultants in the ward and have them sit down with me.

We got back from Columbus and went down to the Sweet 16 games in Indianapolis.  It was a blast!  The stadium is SO nice.  We saw the last game that Kevin Ware would play this year due to a horrific injury.  I think Louisville is my new team.  Louisville is a nice area.  You'll have to look at my last post about our trip there.   I didn't know Ohio State was in Columbus either.  There were SO many Louisville people at the game.  Indy is only 2 hours away so it was practically a home game.

Saturday we just did house work and recovered from a lot of late nights.  Sunday was Easter.  I will say, that it was probably the best Easter Sunday I can remember.  We had a musical program that was so wonderful.

I went back to school this week... 42 more days until summer!  Does that tell you how my week went?

 Cheesecake Factory.  It was very yummy!  Red Velvet Cheesecake!

This is at IHop before the Zoo.  Brian loves this place and I HATE it.  I thought I deserved the wife of the year award for being willing to go with him.  Doesn't he look happy.  Then so full...

 We went to Johnny Rockets.  Our friends really love this place and we found one right across from Buckeye Stadium.  It really wasn't all that great.

 This is really hard to see.  We had a little time to kill before we wanted to head back to IN.  We typed in 'shopping' on our phones and it said Macy's was only a few blocks away.  My instincts told me it wasn't going to be great shopping because we were down in the college dorm area and it was the hood.  We showed up and the store is Turquoise !!!  I am NOT exaggerating either! The WHOLE thing is bright blue!  I told Brian that this wasn't going to work for me and we should leave.  He said we should check it out just to see.  We went in and we saw lots of old people.  We decided to look through the entire store just to see if we could find someone under the age of 65.  How many people would you bet we found?  1.  1!  The juniors section was maybe 10 x 10.  Brian makes fun of me now when I get Macy's catelogs and says I like to shop at old lady places.

 So Awesome!!!  Can I just say that Indy and the stadium are awsome!

 Ya the seats are not the greatest.  They were really nice and comfy though which was surprising.  This is where you end up sitting when you buy tickets the night before.

 This is Brian's Birthday, Fathers Day, Easter, Christmas and any other holiday in which gifts are given.  He was so so excited to buy this shot gun.  Thanks Dad for working out all the details for him.  I have caught him in by the safe 3 times just looking at it.  And we got it last night...

This picture doesn't do these flowere justice.  Brian is a very sweet husband and likes to bring me flowers when he has been gone a lot.  I think this is one of the best bunches he has brought home.  Thanks so much Brian!

I don't know if I have ever blogged about this, but I LOVE the show The Voice.  Seriously love it.  This season is my favorite.  I love all the coaches.  Blake, Adam, Usher, and Shakira.  I really like Shakira!  Way better than Christina and C-Lo.  This week on the radio I heard that Adam announced a new tour which is coming here to ME!  Tickets went on sale this morning.  I got on about 11 to purchase them.  They go quick!!!  I got really upset because the computer was being funny and I couldn't find any tickets I wanted!  I didn't want to sit on the lawn but I didn't want to pay 300 a ticket either.  I was so sad because I LOVE Adam!!  Brian surprised me during conference and was able to find some decent seats for a decent price.  I am SUPER Duper excited.
